In the military arsenals of the United Kingdom, France, Germany and Sweden there were two   processes initiated in the 19-th century. From the point of view of industrial production technologies they were revolutionary processes - estrangement and unification.

Programming should be divided into the following activities (see. figure), in order to proceed to a permanent and significant increase in productivity (as it is in industry). Such division of labour can be found in industry. The synthesis of these processes is performed in the production of programs. Production programs is the generation of algorithms and codes.

A trend seen in the industry. The amount of heavy manual labor is reduced and transferred to the mechanisms. The amount of heavy physical labor is reduced and transferred to the mechanisms - CNC machines, robots, conveyors, rotary-conveyor systems, etc.

This trend must be set in the Software Engineering too. The complex and difficult intellectual work - algorithm design - it is necessary give the generator algorithms (and code).

About alphas in Software Engineering

When people speak about engineering advantages based on theory they mean technical aspects. They mean the possibility to do calculations using formulas or reference books.

Social or administrative aspects of engineering are a question of minor importance or unimportant at all.
When engineers design bridges, buildings or machinery, they do not remember alphas.
